March, 2010 Happenings

We did not take many pictures in March. I don't know why this is, but it is. We spent most of March enjoying the warmer weather. Temperatures frequently reached into the 60's and 70's with plenty of sunshine. We spent many days at the parks, and playing with the kids next door.

Grandma and Grandpa Joe got Haley a trampoline. As you can see, she loves it.

I also went to New Jersey to see UFC 111. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I flew in on Friday to see the weigh-in (although I never made it because my flight was delayed) and meet up with my brother who was flying in from Florida.

Friday after we finally dropped our stuff off at the Hotel. We missed the weigh-ins at the new Prudential Center.

So we walked around looking for a place for dinner when we found Brick City Bar & Grill. Once we were in there I heard rumors that a UFC fighter was going to stop by.

Cain Velasquez showed up about 20 minutes later and sat right across from our table

Posing next to huge hokey statue outside Prudential Center after we left the bar.

The historic Central Railroad of New Jersey (CRRNJ)

We had time on Saturday before the event so we decided to visit Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. We took the ferry from New Jersey. This is the Old NJ railroad terminal
