Grampy and Jeanne came to visit for Easter
Going for a walk at Compton Garden.
Compton Gardens and The Conference Center at Compton Gardens is the former home of Dr. Neil Compton, physician, author, photographer, naturalist, founder of the Ozark Society and “savior of the Buffalo River”. His home and treasured grounds are now open to the public.
The 6.5 acre garden has been developed into a native/woodland garden which is quickly becoming a regional destination garden. It provides a beautiful and peaceful environment containing a native and woodland plant collection, walking trails and prairie. It features three of Arkansas’ State Champion Trees. The garden is dedicated to the advancement and appreciation of gardening, horticulture and conservation within an aesthetic landscape. This natural woodlands garden unites plants, wildlife and people. --360nwa.com

Haley finds 'something'
These daffodils were one of the few plants that were in bloom at this time of year. Still a nice walk in the woods though.

After our visit to Compton Gardens we walked a few blocks to downtown Bentonville where there were First Friday festivities going on.
