2011-12-25 Christmas in AR with Grandma, Grandpa Joe, Grandpa Rinaldi and Grandpa Harris

Christmas. This has to truly be the best time of the year when you have a young family. There is the excitement of Santa and family visiting, and all the great food and time off from work to spend time together. This year we spent Christmas home in Arkansas and Grandma and Grandpa Joe, Grandpa Rinaldi, and Grandpa Harris came to visit.

Making Rice Krispies Treats for building a Christmas house

I think Haley ate more marshmallows than she put in the pot.

Hey, that's for building a house!

Sugar high already

The house is coming together

Snowman and Reindeer

Adding the finishing touches the next morning. Look at that concentration and effort.

We took the family to the newly opened Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. I'm only including a few pics so I dont' spoil if for others when they come to visit.

Chrome Tree

The Last Supper made out of thread spools and done upside down. However, when you look through the glass sphere the image is turned right side up.

Going for a walk on one of the many trails (about 8 miles in total so far). There are multi use cement trails, biking trials, and crushed stone walking trails. Many of the trails have art along their path while others end at structure or sculpture.

She's got plenty of Christmas spirit

What a good lookin' family :-)
